Between the Wicked hoopla and another huge year for The Grinch, we’re all having a very Green Christmas, and I’m not mad about it. You? A hotly debated topic in our house is which Grinch is best. My kids are partial to the 2018 remake with Benedict Cumberbatch (and I DO love that one!), but I don’t think anything can really beat the OG. So all of my Grinch gear recs have that nostalgic classicalism at the forefront. And btw, bonus: a lot of the items I found are on Etsy!

There is no shortage of options to shop as much as your Grinchy heart desires, but here are a few fun finds that I’d love to grab for myself. That is, if I hadn’t already totally blown my holiday “incidentals” fund on Christmas decor on Black Friday. Maybe someone reading this will still need a few stocking stuffer ideas for me? This is a Merry Grinchmas Gift Guide. Read on.

DRINKWARE:

I’ve had the same Stanley Cup for quite some time (you can discover more about my obsession with #underconsumptioncore here), and I really pride myself on the cost per use I’ve gotten myself to on it – every day for two years is $45 divided by 730 = six cents – but sometimes I think about maybe adding to the collection. If I was going to expand, these Grinch options would be hot contenders for first pick.

Buy on Amazon for $40 (40 oz insulated tumbler)

But if you are adamant about keeping your cup collection on the smaller side (I hear you!), there are plenty of amazing accessories for said Stanley (or whatever your emotional support water cup of choice) that you can just trot out for the holiday season.

Grinch Straw Toppers on Etsy, just $2.95 each.

  • Insulated Silicon Boot for your cup, $13.50 on Etsy

  • Tumbler Lid Topper, $15 on Etsy

  • Straw Charms, $5.40 on Etsy

There’s also drinkware that I would consider to be a bit more accessible – we buy new Christmas mugs and glasses almost every year (we love to be festive when we sip!), and these options would be great for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, iced lattes and so on.

  • Grinchy Naughty/Nice OVERSIZED (this is key) mug, $18.99 on Etsy

  • Frosted Grinch Tumbler with lid and straw, $12.99 on Etsy

HOLIDAY DECOR:

Of course, the easiest way to incorporate the Grinch into your family’s life is with decorations for the season. This ornament is fun, unique and can be customized with your names!

Grinch ornament, $20 on Etsy

Grinch up your couch!

Go all out with a fuzzy pillow, $12 at Walmart

OR just stick with some cutesy Squishmallows, $5 at Walmart

CLOTHING

The best way to spread Christmas cheer (besides singing loud for all to hear), is to wear your Grinch out and about where everyone can see. That can be as loud and obvious as a clever sweatshirt.

This one comes in a bunch of different colors and is $22 on Etsy.

Or you could go the more subtle route with Grinch socks that you keep hidden under your Uggs.

This three pack from AE provides thick, cozy warmth complete with whimsy. $20 on the AE site.

Hope you find something that works for you – everyone deserves a little extra Grinchiness in their lives this time of year.

Grinch ya later!
