In case you feel paralyzed when you read the ongoing LA fire news, here are some quick links…

Smoke from the Palisades Fire is seen from Point Dume while it burns homes along the Pacific Coast Highway amid a powerful windstorm on January 8, 2025 in Malibu, California. Fueled by intense Santa Ana Winds, the Palisades Fire has burned through thousands of acres while a second major fire continues to burn near Eaton Canyon in Altadena.

As thousands of people in California have been displaced from their homes and the 60mph Santa Ana winds have aided in burning through over 3,000 acres yesterday with a continued burn today, it is hard to read the news and not feel helpless. As we held off on media outreach to our West Coast journalist friends and continued to monitor news headlines from the other side of the country, we started to look for ways we could help. Just sharing some quick ways to help those impacted by the fires.

-Monetary donations to the California Wildfire & Disaster Relief can be made online and directly support victims of wildfires and disasters throughout California.

-The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund helps underserved communities in the area, and helps to provide long-term recovery relief.

World Central Kitchen is a nonprofit global food relief organization and mobilized to serve the impacted areas in California to provide food and water to both first responders and those who have been forced to evacuate.

We are sending love and thinking of everyone affected. ❤

We’re Sarah and Molly

Sarah and Molly were bloggers many moons ago – back in the earlier 2000’s when blogging was all the rage and we spent the first 30 minutes of every work day (in the office we shared together) AIM’ing links back and forth to each other to catch up on all the tea. We launched The PR Edit in 2024. Less & More is the newest chapter in our blogging journey, focused on motherhood musings, shopping secrets, life lessons, and our usual chit chat.

We are so happy to have you on our corner of the Internet.
