Looking for your next read? We’ve got you covered…

Welcome to Less & More’s Page Turners, a monthly feature featuring all books we read the previous month and what we are stacking our TBR with for the weeks ahead. As two bookworms we believe reading is not a competition and there’s no wrong way to be a reader. We are constantly adding to our TBR stack and leafing through books from a bunch of genres. So if you’re looking for your next read or listen? Here’s what we’re currently diving into…
Sarah’s Pages
-Number of Books Read in October: 5
-Favorite Book from the Month: It Was Her House First by Cherie Priest was SO good and perfect for spooky season. It kept popping up on my socials and I am so glad I decided to read it. I love a haunted house.
-One that was Underwhelming: I didn’t read anything terrible this month because I read way less than I normally do! The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia was predictable but still fun to read.
-What’s on My November TBR: After a busy, crazy month I am so ready to settle in with a stack of books this month! Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid has been on my holds since it came out and I am FINALLY second in line so I can’t wait to dig in.
-Where to Keep Up with My Book Stack: I track my reads with The StoryGraph and have running library wishlists on ShopMy and Pinterest.
Molly’s Pages
-Number of Books Read in October: 6
-Favorite Book from the Month: I really liked The House Across the Lake, by Riley Sager. It turned the question of “was it the husband?” on its head a few times around so that it wasn’t so straightforward, like some of the thrillers I read!
-One that was Underwhelming: The Housemaid, by Frieda McFadden. Everyone says this one is so great (and I’m still excited to see the movie!), but it felt … contrived. Especially because I accidentally read it back to back with The Last Mrs. Parrish and coincidentally, the plots were almost identical … hmmm….
-What’s on My November TBR: I have a whole bunch of borrowed books on my couchside table that I need to get through, so it’s a bit of a mish mosh!
-Where to Keep Up with My Book Stack: I pin ideas from Pinterest and track my progress toward my 100 books for 2025 on GoodReads.
