Welcome to The PR Edit’s Page Turners, a monthly feature featuring all books we read the previous month and what we are stacking our TBR with for the weeks ahead. As two bookworms we believe reading is not a competition and there’s no wrong way to be a reader. We are constantly adding to our TBR stack and leafing through books from a bunch of genres. So if you’re looking for your next read or listen? Here’s what we’re currently diving into…
Sarah’s Pages
-Number of Books Read in June: 12
-Favorite Book from the Month: A little out of my usual genres but I was SO in love with The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer. I read it for book club this month and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I fell in love with these characters.
-One that was Underwhelming: I’ve been living my beach read best life and I really didn’t read any big stinkers! Overall I liked You Deserve to Know but I thought the ending was a little bit of a reach and pretty rushed.
-What’s on My July TBR: I am in a good place of having SO many good books in my library stack that I’ve been waiting weeks or months for. I just started Something in the Walls and I’ve been looking forward to it for MONTHS.
-Where to Keep Up with My Book Stack: I track my reads with The StoryGraph and have running library wishlists on ShopMy and Pinterest.
Molly’s Pages
-Number of Books Read in June: 4
-Favorite Book from the Month: Not to be cliche, but I think it was Funny Story, by Emily Henry. It was so cute and readable and funny!
-One that was Underwhelming: I’m not sure I have one this month – all the books I read were pretty darn good.
-What’s on My July TBR: Still working on Iron Flame, by Rebecca Yarros and Never Lie, by Freida McFadden – those are the two that are MOST overdue at the library (oops!). Also listening to Never Flinch, by Stephen King on Libby during any walks when my kids aren’t with me!
-Where to Keep Up with My Book Stack: I pin ideas from Pinterest and track my progress toward my 100 books for 2025 on GoodReads.
We are both always looking to stack our TBRs so tell us, what are you reading this month?
Speaking of reading…thanks for reading our words! We cannot thank our supporters enough and our work exists because of YOU. Please consider subscribing or sharing to keep the pages turning.
